SpaceX says it will invest $100 billion to launch thousands of rockets from “Starbase, Louisiana,” with construction set to start in 2027.
SpaceX plans to establish its Starbase, LA, in Vermillion Parish, which will "support thousands of launches annually."
The company says it will start construction in 2027 and that a Starship rocket could take flight as soon as 2029.
It would be the rocket company’s second private launch site after Starbase, its headquarters in South Texas.
